Many thanks for this. The Royal Guardsmen were an excellent 60's garage/frat-rock band, so it's a shame that they got tagged as
a novelty group for their many Snoopy-oriented novelty songs. This album shows that they can do jangly folk-rock in the tradition of the
first Cryan Shames album and frat-rock as well as the 65-66 Kingsmen.
