Bob Dylan – A Rare Batch Of Little White Wonder – Volume 1
Joker SM 3605 (Italy 1973)
This is the first in a series of 3 Bob Dylan LPs titled “A Rare Batch Of Little White Wonder” that I bought when they were originally released in Italy in 1973, 1974 and 1975 by the Joker label.
At the time, copyright laws were very loose in Italy (to say the least) so although not 100 % legal, they weren’t illegal but quasi-legitimate. Let’s say they were in the grey zone.
They contained songs that were unreleased at the time or were alternate versions of early Bob Dylan tracks (1962-1965).
Problem with these LPs is that there are many mistakes in the song titles.
Volume 1 came in a dark pink cover, volume 2 in a green cover and volume 3 in a beige cover.
These LPs were later re-released as “Bob Dylan – The Little White Wonder” (vol. 1, 2 and 3) on the Italian Buhay label with pictures of Bob Dylan on the covers and with different running orders of tracks.
