Various Artists – Too Much Of Nothing – 21 Great Versions
A song by Bob Dylan, it was first recorded by him in 1967 during the “Basement Tapes” sessions with The Band. The first officially released version by the author was on “The Basement Tapes” double LP in July 1975.
The first officially released version was by Peter, Paul And Mary in November 1967, with slightly modified lyrics, which wasn’t met with approval by Dylan.
As a bonus track (#21), I added the first ever attempt to record this track by Dylan and The Band; it’s from an acetate.
